Potice

pronounced "po-teet-sa"

Potice or Slovenian Nut Roll

begins with thinly rolled sweet yeast dough.  It is then spread with a generous layer of toasted walnut filling.  Flavored with real butter, cream,and a touch of cinnamon and lemon zest, the dough is carefully rolled, allowed to raise and baked for

more than one  hour.

Each 11" X 3" loaf weighs approximately 1.5 pounds.

Generally requested at Easter and Christmas holiday seasons.

Pound Cake

Fresh eggs, butter, sugar, flour and vanilla - One pound of each produces two large loaves.  Moist and delicate, ready for toasting, grilling or plain with fruit or chocolate sauce.  Yumm - a special dessert.

 

Each 11" X 3" loaf weighs approximately 1.75 pounds.

Swiss Roll or Pumpkin Roll

Delicate sponge cake roll in your choice of Vanilla, Chocolate or Pumpkin Cake.
